Search Instructions
-
Enter the values into the appropriate fields and click the "Find" button to find records that contain the specified patterns.
e.g., If you enter Zombie in the Monster Name field, it will match monsters that contain the phrase "zombie". This includes "Zombie Cop" "Pod Zombie;" etc...
- If you enter criteria into more than one field, they will match only those records that match BOTH criteria.
- Selecting the OR option will search for records that match any of your criteria.
eg. either Rookie OR Experienced OR Veteran
- Selecting the AND option will search for records that match all of your criteria.
eg. both Carny AND Werewolf
- Exact Matches
- Prepend an equals sign (=) to any criteria to force exact matching.
e.g., Searching for =Monkey in the Monster Name field will match monsters whose Name contains "monkey" (and not "monkeys")
- Less Than / Greater Than Searches
- Prepending a less than (<) or greater than (>) sign to a number will match records where the field has a value LESS THAN (or, respectively, GREATER THAN) the specified value.
e.g., Entering >100 in the Cost field will match records with a cost greater than 100 points.
- Range Searches
- To match records containing values in a range, use "<LowerRange> .. <UpperRange>" where <LowerRange> is the lower bound on matches and <UpperRange> is the upper bound on matches.
e.g., To find monsters whose Cost is between 30 and 50 points enter "30..50" in the Cost field.
