A HorrorClix module for Tabletop Simulator is available on the Steam workshop. This is currently the best way to play long-distance.

HorrorClix can also be played over the internet using HorrorClix Online, which is a modified version of the OpenHC program that HeroClixers have been using for years. The download link and full user guide are available on the HorrorClix Wiki.
